Infant found dead inside garbage truck in Ohio PLAIN CITY, Ohio (WCMH) — An infant was found dead inside an Ohio garbage truck Thursday afternoon after Plain City police received a call from the village's contracted refuse company.The infant appeared to be a full-term newborn from zero to one month of age, according to a news release from police. "My little brother comes around banging on the door saying there's a bunch of cops in front of our house," Plain City resident Dmitri Price said. 9 U.S. theme parks named among the 'most-visited' in the world (KTLA) - Nine theme parks in the U.S. were named among the most visited in the world last year, according to the annual index report released by Themed Entertainment Association(TEA) and AECOM.To be part of the report, a theme or water park must require a ticket to enter, and "generally must be focused on the visitor experience," authors explained.Analysts with AECOM found the 25 most visited theme parks in the world served roughly 178.5 million guests in 2022, up from 124.6 million in 2021, a year still marred by the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet not a single public program serves them on that criterion alone. To qualify for benefits, they must also be something else, such as old, disabled, or pregnant. Even then, access isn’t categorical: People must get through a labyrinth of multi-contingent eligibility tests, which might include anything from the size of their savings account balance to some minimum time spent on work-related activities. TPD: 17-year-old possessed illegal, loaded handgun TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A 17-year-old was arrested on Thursday for possessing an illegally owned, loaded handgun, according to Troy Police. Police say the juvenile was arrested in the area of 7th Avenue and Glen Avenue. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Troy Police Detectives obtained information that led them to believe a known individual possessed an illegal, loaded handgun. The information was passed along to the Patrol Division, who later saw the suspect in the area of 7th Avenue and Glen Avenue in Troy. Members from both the Patrol and Detective division responded to the area and tried to interview the suspect. The suspect fled on foot but was taken into custody not far from where they fled.
