(WSVN) — A U.S. Coast Guard crew came to the rescue of a man who suffered a medical emergency.The patient was suffering from abdominal pain while in a 39-foot fishing boat 50 miles east of Port Canaveral, Saturday.The 43-year-old was taken to an a hospital.As of Sunday evening, his condition is unknown.

Investigation underway after 2 people shot at Malden apartment complex Authorities are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex in Malden late Saturday night that sent two people to the hospital, officials said.Malden and state police could be seen scouring Quarrystone at Overlook Ridge, where crime scene tape was up and evidence markers were being put out.Police say the shooting occurred in the lobby of the apartment complex.Witnesses said they heard a barrage of gunshots and then a flurry of activity in the area.The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said a 33-year-old woman was one of the two people wounded.
