CHICAGO -- A 20-year-old has been arrested after allegedly beating three people with a baseball bat in Lincoln Park on Wednesday.According to the Chicago Police Department, 20-year-old Julius Wilkerson reportedly beat three people in less than 15 minutes on the 2000 block of North Burling Street in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood just after 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18. String of armed robberies at University of Chicago under investigation CPD quickly responded to the scene and located Wilkerson on the 1000 West Belden Avenue as he attempted to flee the scene.Wilkerson has been charged with three counts of aggravated battery and use of a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated battery of a victim over the age of 60-years-old.No further information has been provided at this time.13-year-old boy injured in shooting in Grand Boulevard

CHICAGO — A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was shot in the leg on the city's South Side. According to Chicago police, the shooting happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Friday night in the 400 block of East 50th Place in the city's Grand Boulevard neighborhood. Police say the teen boy was standing near a street in the area when he was hit in the leg by gunfire. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person was ejected after a single-vehicle rollover near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Friday, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media.Shortly after 9:30 p.m., medics responded to the crash at 1000 S SH 130, which is near Tesla Road, for the crash involving two people in one vehicle.
