SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Suspected drug overdoses are happening inside Bay Area Rapid Transit trains and stations on a daily basis, according to BART's daily crime log.At 2 a.m. Monday, an "unresponsive" man was revived after an officer administered two doses of Narcan at the Millbrae station, the crime log states. Narcan is an opioid overdose-reversing treatment for victims who use drugs such as heroin or fentanyl. He was transported to a hospital.On Sunday at 10:49 a.m., a man in possession of narcotics paraphernalia was found dead on a train at the Daly City station. There were no signs of foul play, police wrote in the crime log. The evening of March 30, a man suffered an overdose while riding on a train. A Crisis Intervention Specialist at the MacArthur Station revived the man with two doses of Narcan, and he was transported to a hospital. A drug trial is underway at UCSF and at medical centers across the country to see if giving a drug before symptoms occur is what’s needed to keep people functioning at a steady level as they grow older.“We have been trying to find ways to reverse the disease or to slow down the disease for almost 50 years now,” said Julio Rojas, a neurologist at UCSF. Now, one East Bay police department is offering one of the largest bonuses in the country.The Alameda Police Department says its staffing is down nearly 30% from where it should be. A fire broke out at a South Florida townhouse complex, which affected eight homes that inspectors have deemed unsafe.Sunrise Fire Rescue crews arrived to the Country Squire Townhouses at 10725 NW 30th Place, Monday afternoon, around 2:30. According to fire rescue, it was a three-alarm fire, and Lauderhill Fire Rescue also responded to the scene to assist. “We heard a big noise,” said a child whose family was affected by the fire, “and then we heard another big noise, and everybody was like, ‘Come on!
