And now, researchers may have found that your blood type may affect your risk of early stroke. The University of Maryland concluded those with type A blood are 12% more likely to have a stroke when they are under the age of 60 than other blood types.“The number of people with early strokes is rising. These people are more likely to die from the life-threatening event, and survivors potentially face decades with disability. Despite this, there is little research on the causes of early strokes,” said study co-principal investigator Steven J.
