AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was arrested on capital murder charges following a fatal shooting spree Tuesday in Austin and Bexar County.Sources told KXAN the suspect was 34-year-old Shane James. Travis County jail records showed James booked into the jail early Wednesday and charged with capital murder of multiple people.Interim Chief Robin Henderson said the man was accused in the deaths of two people on Shadywood Drive in south Austin, as well as the shooting of an Austin ISD officer at Northeast Early College High School Tuesday morning.The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office also said the man was a suspect in a double homicide near San Antonio. AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Public Health released its October health inspection scores, with 558 locations (restaurants, grocery stores, school cafeterias, etc.) examined. Last spring two time capsules were discovered in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota’s Eagan headquarters while facility managers were looking through document archives in preparation to move to a new building.The time capsules, which contained well-kept photographs and documents from as far back as the 1930s, were concealed behind the building’s cornerstones, and no current employees had knowledge of their existence. They even contained a 1970 edition of the Pioneer Press. After their discovery, the contents of the time capsules were donated to the American Historical Society.On Saturday, those documents, brochures, and photographs will be on display for Free Admission Day at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. sponsored by and in celebration of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s 90th anniversary. DUANESBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10) - All westbound lanes of I-88 have been reopened after a truck carrying natural gas crashed off the highway. The eastbound lanes remain closed. Police allowed some traffic to pass westbound in the area late Tuesday night.On Tuesday morning, a box truck carrying multiple cylinders of compressed natural gas went off the roadway around 2:52 a.m. It happened in between exits 24 and 25. The crash was serious enough to close down all lanes of traffic on the highway. It also prompted a response from Governor Kathy Hochul. LOUIS - The St. Louis Cardinals dove into the free agent pitcher's market in the early weeks of the offseason, but haven't finalized any moves during the Winter Meetings, which are set to end Wednesday. The Winter Meetings mark an annual occurrence in which lead executives from the Cardinals and other MLB teams meet to discuss business and potential trades. The meetings began Sunday and run through Wednesday in Nashville.As of Wednesday morning, the Cardinals haven't made any roster changes since the start of the meetings. The couple attended Nelly’s Black and White Ball in St. Louis on Sunday, where Ashanti's hand on her stomach sparked pregnancy speculation. The duo, who dated from 2003 to 2013, hinted at expanding their family during the event.Nelly confirmed their relationship in September, surprising both of them. In October, they went Instagram official, and last month, Ashanti surprised Nelly with a car for his birthday.
